FAQ
Why does Renewanation exist?
Our vision is to transform our culture by giving millions of children a biblical worldview.
When did Renewanation begin?
In the 1990s, Jeff Keaton pastored an inner city church in Hollywood, Florida. It was here that he began to understand the struggle children were facing in secular schools. Even though his church was responsible for 30 plus Christian clubs in public schools, he saw the need for something more to disciple the children of newly saved families. In 2000, Jeff moved to Roanoke, VA to take his second pastorate where God opened the door for him to start Parkway Christian Academy. In seven years, he watched this school grow to almost 400 students and was forever convinced that weekday Christian education was the tool God would use to evangelize and disciple children. In 2007, God birthed in Jeff’s heart the vision to take biblical worldview education to the masses. Renewanation was officially launched in the fall of 2008. It has been a full-time stand alone ministry since the fall of 2011.
